Health fund rebates

All of our osteopaths are registered providers. On the spot health fund rebates are available through HICAPS. We will simply swipe your membership card and you will only need to pay the gap. The rebate amount will vary depending on your individual cover. Check with your health fund provider to find out how much you will receive for each osteopathy treatment.

Medicare rebates

Medicare rebates are available for Osteopathy with a valid GP referral under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program. This was formerly referred to as Enhanced Primary Care or EPC.

CDM enables GPs to plan and coordinate the health care of patients with chronic medical conditions.

The full fee for the Osteopathy treatment is payable at the time of your consultation. The Medicare rebate can be processed on the same day and put into your debit account of choice (patients need to bring their Medicare card and debit card).

Consult with your GP to see if you are eligible for this program.

DVA patients welcome

Cancellation policy

JBOC is a busy clinic and we often have other patients on the waitlist hoping for an appointment. We ask you to respect our practitioners time and other patients who may be waiting for an appointment.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we ask that you provide us with as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. A minimum of 24 hours notice for cancelling (or rescheduling) of appointments is necessary to avoid cancellation fees.

Failure to give 24-hours notice or failure to attend your appointment, will result in you being charged in full for the missed appointment.
